Brief outline of the study: 

Introduction:
Stroke can cause a continual reduction in brain volume and as a result ongoing decline in thinking. A decline in thinking can, in severe cases, progress to a cognitive dementia. The major risk factors for post-stroke brain decline are more strokes, high blood pressure (hypertension), and low rates of physical activity.

What is the purpose of this study:
In this study, we will examine if exercise after stroke can modify risk factors that may lead to post-stroke brain and thinking decline.

Who is eligible to participate:
- Aged over 18
- Suffered an Ischaemic Stroke in the last 2 months
- Able to participate in an exercise program
- Able to undergo an MRI scan
